Recreational Planning and Parks

The consulting association of PEC and JFDS (Joey Furr Design Studios – Registered Landscape architecture Firm) was conceived to unite the talents and expertise of a landscape architectural firm and civil engineering firm as a single package of expertise for recreational consulting services.  The association of these two entities has resulted in an organization that can provide complete recreational services starting from conception of an idea to its construction and finally to the maintenance and sustainability of the completed facility. From sports park facilities to riverfront developments, the PEC/JFDS team has the expertise to meet its clients’ needs through development of a broad spectrum of recreational and park facilities.

The uniqueness of this partnership is that experienced recreational planners and landscape architects lead a project’s design development with the support of well-qualified and experienced infrastructure and construction engineers. The final project will be one exhibiting the best in recreational planning supported by realistic engineering design and construction costs.

The PEC/JFDS association provides public outreach and needs assessments and develops marketing plans and self-sustaining management guidance. The team also has in-house engineering, land surveying, and environmental personnel as well as associated consultants for architecture and specialty project areas. PEC/JFDS recreational clients will have one point of contact that will be responsive and communicate with the client to ensure input and feedback is always a priority of a project’s development.  This combined resource of personnel and capabilities has resulted in a package of services that will meet the expectations and financial capabilities of both large and small recreational visions.

The PEC/JFDS objective is to be one of the single outstanding sources of recreational and sports planning, design and construction for private, public, and government in this region of the country.
